Why Re-Elect Me?
Let’s Keep Moving Forward
If re-elected, I will continue to listen, lead, and work in partnership with residents to shape a future that reflects Gaithersburg’s values and promise. My campaign remains Empowered By Community—and together, we’ll continue to make progress that matters.
Tackling Housing Affordability with growth housing affordability is one of the most pressing issues in our city. I believe the most effective and sustainable response to rising housing costs is to increase housing supply. That’s why I’ve consistently supported new residential development—particularly near transit and walkable neighborhoods.I’ve voted for mixed-use and mixed-income projects that include both affordable and market-rate homes. I’ve also backed zoning and master plan changes that allow for more diverse housing types, including multifamily housing, senior living, and townhomes. These decisions are expanding our housing stock and making Gaithersburg a more inclusive place to live for residents at every income level.
Supporting Seniors & Intergenerational Solutions As the Council liaison to the Senior Advisory Committee, I’ve worked to ensure Gaithersburg is a place where people can age with dignity and connection. I supported the opening of The Carnegie, a full-service senior living community that offers independent, assisted, and memory care options.I also led the charge to fund a feasibility study for a multigenerational center, a project that would bring youth, seniors, and families together in one welcoming, inclusive space to learn, gather, and thrive.
Present, Engaged, and Accountable I believe leadership starts with showing up. I’ve maintained near-perfect attendance at Mayor and Council meetings and consistently participated in neighborhood gatherings, public forums, and community events. I listen, I engage, and I stay visible—because your input matters and accessibility should never be optional.
Leadership Beyond City Lines In addition to my City Council role, I serve as Treasurer and formerly as Member-at-Large for the Montgomery County Chapter of the Maryland Municipal League (MML). Through this work, I advocate for Gaithersburg and other municipalities at the county and state level, bringing back funding opportunities, policy insights, and best practices to strengthen our local government.
A Background That Delivers Results With a career in information technology and building solutions for public safety and other government agencies, I bring strong analytical and operational skills to local government. I understand how to solve complex problems, evaluate data, and turn ideas into action that benefits our community.
